Logistics Labels
These labels will be used to identify pallets and any other units that need to be tracked individually through the supply chain. The label shown below is an example of an A5 Pallet label. Two identical labels are used on each pallet placed on adjacent sides of the pallet.
The target size for the UCC/EAN-128 bar codes is an x-dimension of 0.50mm, and the bars must be at least 32mm tall.
The bar code containing the SSCC whould always be the lowest on the label.
For all pallets and other units more than 1 meter in height place the labels so that they are at a height between 400mm and 800mm from the base of the unit, and no closer than 50mm to any vertical edge.
